Mobilize Your Church to Fund Your Vision

Overview

Does your church struggle to balance ministry and mission budgets? You’re not alone – and there is hope!

Most churches face a critical, ongoing challenge to fund their ministry and mission fully. That constant challenge creates continual pressure on effective follow-through, stunting ministry opportunity and growth potential.

We can help you flip that script. Get your high capacity donors invested. Build passion and momentum in your core constituencies. Mobilize your broader congregation to catch your vision and then to participate in and to grow in giving.

Consider what’s at stake:

Budget Cuts & Staff Layoffs

Reductions to Member Services & Community Outreach

Member Burnout (Money and Service)

Lost Momentum & Missed Ministry Opportunities

Loss of Kingdom Impact

The Catalyst Vision Initiative (CVI) is a proven and reproducible framework for consistently reaching your church’s operating budgets and capital fund goals by mobilizing your congregation to greater service and giving

Put your church in moving forward boldly mode instead of the catching up scramble. Create connection, confidence, and excitement. Cast vision passionately, cast your net faithfully, catch genuine momentum. Fully fund your church’s ministry so you can focus more on Kingdom impact.

How we achieve success:

Exclusive CVI funding framework developed specifically for churches and ministries

Proficient team of pastors and consultants to guide you thru the framework and into implementation

Over a century of combined expertise working with churches on leadership and funding initiatives

Over $3.1 billion in church fundraising experience

Servant-hearted, ministry-minded and highly collaborative professionals in your corner

Brad Marchman

I have worked with Scotty Sanders and Catalyst Vision Initiative team, not once but twice! Their guidance and expertise were invaluable in helping our team mobilize our congregation to fund our vision. A huge benefit of working with the CVI team is that not only did they provide the framework for explosive generosity growth, they helped us in several other aspects of church health.

Former Pastor of Lawerence Drive Baptist Church

They listened and then kept listening. They created strategies that we could both feel great and faithful about. They adjusted often to meet our needs. They helped us to be much more successful — and they helped our congregation to feel excited about all of it.

Michael M. Cook

I have had the privilege of working with Bill McMillian in three different ministry locations. Bill builds strong relationships, provides direction, and offers resources which work together to make a difference in ministry. His success in partnering with ministry organizations is because Bill chooses to invest time to get to know the teams he supports. He brings a high level of experience into the equation and then works tirelessly to assure success. With that mix of components, good things are going to happen!

CVI Framework

Discovery

We listen.  Learn your culture, context, leadership styles and structures, opportunities, challenges and language. Sharpen your vision and customize strategies to accomplish those objectives. Explore the data to understand trends and possibilities. Orient staff. Engage your lay leaders in meaningful conversations to refine the vision. Plan and calendar initiative details.

Alignment

Develop communications strategies. Intentional conversations with high capacity givers. Deepen conversations with core leaders, key volunteers, and influencers to create the advocacy, passion, voices, and momentum to move out into the congregation. Create a movement. Prepare for congregational launch.

Launch

Public communications, prayer, focus, teaching series.  Work through existing organic structures (like small groups) to foster meaningful discussions. Leverage the leadership examples and passion of your advocates. Open doors for mobilizing wide participation. Move strategically to a clear call for action and commitment.

Mission

Celebrate what God is doing in your people.  Follow through plan. Do what you said you would do. Intentionally and regularly communicate and celebrate successes and milestones. Consistently open doors for late adopters and new givers. Give thanks and say thanks often.
